Having lots of keys with which to unlock the desks is a nightmare; is there any way around that?
As standard we deliver Verso® MultiDesks™, with 'suited' keys - one key will open all the desks. As an option, the desks can be supplied with different keys for each lock.
Do we have to put these desks in ourselves?
Verso® MultiDesks™ are delivered fully-assembled to a ground-floor location and are designed to be easy to install. We will provide support to your network and electrical installation team to ensure that your new ICT suite is up and running quickly.
Can we use computers from our usual supplier?
Of course - Many schools have built up valued long term supply and support relationships with their PC suppliers and we don't think you should change them to suit the furniture, so we offer a range of desk sizes to accommodate different machines.
What monitors can we use with the desks?
Any 17-inch flat-screen will fit, and some 19-inch screens too, but please check with us to make sure that your chosen make and model is included.
We prefer to use hard glass monitors, can you supply them?
Yes, we can supply monitors - hard glass or standard - pre-fitted into the Verso® MultiDesk™ to speed up the installation process. We can supply keyboards and mice, too, but we prefer to let you buy your own computers.
How do we fit the monitor into the desk?
Each desk is supplied with an adaptor plate that uses the standard VESA (75 or 100 mm) mounting holes on the monitor. No additional brackets are needed.
I can't find a desk that meets my needs, can you help?
Not everything that we make is shown on our website so ask us if you need something special — we may have just what you're looking for, or perhaps a modification will provide the perfect solution?
How does the cable management work? Do we have to buy cable trays?
Verso® MultiDesks™ all have cable management built-in as standard - no extra charge. Power and data can be fed from dado rails or floor boxes and cables can be routed through desks to reach those further from the supply. All cables are hidden keeping your classroom safe and free from 'spaghetti'.
Keys can be really annoying, isn't there a quicker way to open the desks?
If you would like to unlock a room full of desks with the push of a button, then our Remote Central Locking option is right for you. Ask us for more details.
Is our room big enough to accommodate 30 desks?
If your room has an area of approximately 50m2, then you can probably fit in 30 desks. If you would like more help and advice on the best arrangement for your room, ask for our free Room Design Service.
